Nonny's Return

My mom came back from wintering in New Mexico, just in time for Mother's Day. She arrived on Saturday night, after Jasper was already in bed. On Sunday morning, she snuggled into bed with us and Jasper didn't skip a beat. There was something very familiar about this woman. My mom can't wait for when Jasper comes into her room, climbs into her bed  and snuggles with his Nonny. 

Now that it's truly Spring, and verging on Summer, Jasper spends  a lot of his time outdoors. His latest interests include picking all the dandelions and bringing the downy puff balls to us to blow on. He blows too, but it's more like "fffff." We also put a small tent up and he loves playing in there. When he gets exciting he says a breathy, "haaauh, hauh, hauh, hauh" continually. He's a goofball!

His latest words are:

"gah" for eyeglasses

"gok" for sock

"key" for kittycat

Right now he's walking around the living room singing, "la la la la" and "da da da," carrying the feather& bell tipped cat toy stepping on the popcorn he previously dumped onto the floor. Oh Joy!

Time for a nap.
