He took his shoes off of his feet in the carseat, then placed them on his head. He had a sparkle in his eye and made sure I saw what he had done. Jasper's first joke, he is so funny!
He knows what shoes are and that they go on his feet. He actually tries to put shoes and socks on himself, mostly laying socks across the top of his foot and getting nowhere with getting his foot into the shoe.
He also knows what hats are as well. And now that it's sunnier and we spend more time outside playing, he constantly hears, "put your hat on." All of these things: hats, shoes, socks, end in "on" when we are talking about wearing them. And though he is very clear about what goes on his head and on his feet, they all seem to be called the same word: "gagon"
This morning he tried saying "balloon" and "ball." Balloon ended up like "b-loon" and both words seemed to be shorten by simply saying, "bbbb."
He runs around saying "dad-dee" over and over, very excitedly.
